2.5 Installing Disk Drives
Please refer to the following instructions to install the various disk drives.
1. Remove the disk drive housing by simply undoing the screws on top of it. Then
remove the front cover as well if you want to install the optical disk drive, mobile
rack, or FDD. If you install the internal 3.5” HDD, then the front cover does not
need to be removed.
2. Insert the disk drive into the proper location in the bracket and secure them with
the screws provided.
3. Return the housing with the disk drives in the original position and fasten it with
the screws.
4. Connect the suitable cables (ex. IDE, SCSI, SATA, or SAS, etc.) from the CPU
card or the motherboard to the various disk drives. Then plug the power connec-
tor into each disk drive.
