High Quality Sound
Silence Technology
By combining the vibration-suppressing hard disk drive damper and
new fan control technology, DIGA not only minimises the effect of any
noise that is generated but also employs a number of ingenious
technologies to prevent noise at all. This gives it an extremely quiet
operating sound of 30 dBA.
Hard Disk Drive Damper to Suppress Vibration
Locating the damper closer to the hard disk drive than in conventional
hard disk drive mounting effectively improves absorption of hard disk
drive vibrations.

Fan Control Technology for Quiet Operation
Based on information from the internal heat sensor, fan speed is
finely controlled to prevent the internal temperature rising. By
preventing an increase in fan speed, this reduces fan noise.

Pure Audio Electrolytic Capacitor
Pure audio electrolytic capacitors are
manufactured by the highly regarded
company Elna Co., Ltd. These capacitors
are extremely resistant to vibration and
ensure pure sound.
High-precision 192kHz 24bit DAC
Thanks to the 192kHz 24bit DAC used in
pure audio components and optical digital
output featuring a high-speed 50Mbps
device boasting exceptional wave form
response, DIGA faithfully reproduces
sound sources.
384Kbps Audio Recording with
SP mode
In the SP mode recording, 384Kbps high sound quality recording
provides audio quality approaching that of commercially available
DVD movie software. Even with music containing a wide range of
tones, such as orchestral performances, the sound of individual
instruments are beautifully reproduced.
High-speed 50Mbps Optical
Output
Reproduction of high sound quality DVD-Video software with a
sampling rate 96kHz or higher requires a transmission speed of
12.3Mbps or higher. The 12Mbps of regular optical outputs is
insufficient, resulting in poor quality sound. With the 50Mbps high-
speed optical output provided by the DIGA, transmission is more
than fast enough to assure superb sound.
