Copying
Fixed
Disk
to
Cartridge
This
section
describes
the
procedure
tor
copying
data
trom
the
hard
disk
to
a
cartridge
disk.
To
copy
the
tixed
disk
to
a
cartridge,
proceed
as
tollows:
1.
Power
up
the
system
it it
is
not
already
running.
The
operating
system
is
assumed
to
be
currently
loaded
on
the
tixed
portion
ot
the
hard
disk
drive.
2.
The
logon
message
is
displayed
and
the
CP/M
command
is
displayed:

Where

is
the
tixed
disk.
The
system
assigns
A
to
the
tixed
disk
when
the
system
is
booted
trom
the
tixeo
disk.
The
system
assigns
the
tloppy
disk
as
drive
C
and
cartridge
disk
as
B.
3.
Use
the
PIP
command
to
copy
allot
the
tiles
trom
your
tixed
disk
to
the
cartridge:

[RETURN]

allows

In
order
to
assure
that
the
copy
was
successtul,
check
both
directories
using
the
DIR
command
and
compare
them:

Copying
Cartridge
to
Diskette
This
section
describes
the
procedure
tor
copying
data
trom
the
cartridge
to
the
diskette
drive.
To
copy
the
cartridge
disk,
proceed
as
tollows:
1.
Insert
the
cartridge
to
be
copied
into
the
hard
drive
it
you
have
not
already
done
so.
2.
Power
up
the
hard
drive
by
pressing
the
run
button
on
the
hard
drive.
Wait
tor
the
drive
to
come
up
to
operating
speed.
