4.5 Manual Record
Note: In order to perform this function the DVR must have drives installed and formatted
and the user login password must have “Record” enabled. Manual record is lost after a reboot.
Manual record:
1. In the live view mode, press the [REC] key. In the display login dialog, select a
username and input the correct password to enter into the “Manual Record”
interface.
2. In menu mode, press [REC] to enter the “Manual Record” interface directly.
Manual Record Menu:
The Manual Record interface has the following selections: Channel number, channel
status, start/stop record, start all and stop all buttons.
1. Channel: Indicates available camera inputs.
2. Status: Indicates one of four settings: means idle.
Green means the channel is recording (or set to record including: Continuous
recording, alarm recording, motion detection recording).
Red means network transmission.
Orange means both recording and network transmission.
3. Start/Stop: “ü ” means start recording corresponding channel. “×” means stop.
4. Start All: Press this button to start all channels recording.
5. Stop All: Press this button to stop all channels from recording. Note: Manual
recording will be lost after a reboot.
Exit manual record:
Press the [ESC] key to enter the live view mode. Press the [MENU] key to enter the
main menu. Press the [PLAY] key to enter playback menu. Press the [PTZ] key to
enter the PTZ control mode.
