7. Rinse all traces of solvent from the core assembly and tube with warm
detergent water.
WARNING! – All traces of solvent must be rinsed from the core assembly and
tube assembly with hot detergent water prior to use. Failure to remove all solvent
from the silencer may lead to property damage, personal injury and/or death.
8. Inspect the o-ring located on the outside-rear of the core assembly.
Replace it if it has become worn or frayed. Replacement o-rings can be
bought from McMaster Carr – Part Number 9263K185 – 19mm I.D. x
23mm O.D. See Figure 8.
9. Apply a small amount of white lithium grease to the exterior of the o-ring
and to the male threads on the front of the core assembly. See Figure 9.
