Flashlogic Functionality Using Your Remote Control Door Lock To lock the vehicle doors press and release the button. Door Unlock To unlock the vehicle doors press and release the button. Two Stage Door Unlock (Optional) If this feature is enabled on your system, pressing the button one time will unlock only the driver’s door. Press again within three seconds to unlock the remaining doors.
Entering the Vehicle while it is Running via Remote Vehicle Start 1. Unlock the vehicle’s doors. 2. Enter the vehicle. DO NOT PRESS THE BRAKE PEDAL! 3. Insert the key into the ignition switch and turn to the ON or RUN position. 4. Press the brake pedal. The remote vehicle starter will disengage and the vehicle will operate normally. Preheating or Precooling the Vehicle’s interior Before exiting the vehicle, set the temperature controls to the desired setting and operation.
2 Way LCD Transmitter Functions Display Illumination Press and hold the button for 1 second. The display will illuminate for 5 seconds. Melody / Vibration Mode To have the remote control vibrate, play a melody tone or both each time it receives a response from the vehicle press and release then press and hold for 2 seconds. Button Beeps To toggle button beeps on or off press and release seconds.
Parking Meter Countdown The parking meter countdown timer has 6 preset times, to access the preset times and begin countdown press and release then press and hold for 2 seconds, each additional press of will increase the countdown time. Adjusting the Clock and Timer Settings The clock, alarm clock and programmable countdown timer are accessed through the Function Menu.

Replacing Remote Control Batteries 2 Way LCD Remote Control - Part # CATLCD The AAA battery inside the 2-way LCD remote control should last approximately 6 months under normal use. When the battery becomes weak you will notice the remote control range (the distance from the vehicle the remote control will work) deteriorate and the BATTERY icon on the LCD remote control will show 1 bar or less. 1. AS9234E Functionality Note: The follow instruction is for you with the AS9234E system only and is separate from the Flashlogic FLRS functionality previously listed in this guide. Operating the AS9234E System Door Lock To lock the vehicle doors press and release the button. Door Unlock To unlock the vehicle doors press and release the button. Activating the Trunk Release Feature (Optional) If this feature is enabled on your system, pressing and holding the seconds will open the vehicle’s trunk or hatch.
Remote Start Shutdown: To cancel the remote vehicle start function, press and release the within 2 seconds. button 2 times Timed Start Program: The Remote Start unit has the ability to start the vehicle automatically at timed intervals. This feature is useful in extremely cold climates where starting the engine is the only means to keep the battery charged and fluids warm. Remote Start Override Mode (Valet Mode) - AS9234E The intent of the remote start override / manual shut down circuit is to allow the vehicle operator to prevent operation of the Remote Start Unit regardless of the RF transmitter operation. Enter Remote Start Override: 1. With the system disarmed/unlocked, and the ignition switch off Press and Hold the PBLED push button switch (dash mounted). Manually Overriding Your Alarm System (Alarm Systems Only): Using the Dash Mounted PBLED Push-Button Valet/Override Switch your Security System can be disarmed without the use of the keychain transmitter. This is necessary, since you will need the ability to operate your vehicle if the transmitter is lost or its battery fails. To bypass the alarm system; 1. Open the vehicle door.
