This device supports the L7 application filter for various Internet Chat, P2P download,
Proxy, and streaming Video. You can select the applications to be blocked after the
function is enabled, and specify the schedule rule for such application filter.

IPS (Intrusion Prevention Systems) are network security appliances that monitor
network and/or system activities for malicious activity. The main functions of IPS are
to identify malicious activity, log information about this activity, attempt to block/stop it,
and report it.
