BRUSH MOTOR DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY (For Adnity
TM
X 20 C)
Disassembly
Remove the cylindrical brush deck (see the procedure in the relevant paragraph).
At the workbench, remove the screw (A) from the motor which has to be disassembled.
Remove the case (B).
Loosen the nut (C) and move the pulley (D) to loosen the belt (E).
Remove the belt (E).
Remove the screws (F).
Remove the motor (G).
Assembly
Assemble the components in the reverse order of disassembly, and note the following:
The electrical connections (H) of the motor (G) must be turned upwards.
The connection (J) of the carbon brush protection clamps (I) must be positioned as shown in the gure.
Install the belt (E) and tension it properly (see the procedure in the relevant paragraph).
