Duplex Mode Menu
The Duplex Mode menu (see Figure 5-17) is used to select the duplex mode of the Ethernet
interface.

NOTE
The duplex mode displayed in the title indicates the current duplex
mode being viewed or provisioned.
The Duplex Mode menu options are shown in Table 5-14.
Table 5-14. Duplex Mode Menu Options
Option Description Function
1 Auto Negotiate This option sets the system to automatically detect the
duplex mode of the attached device.
2 Full Duplex This option sets the Ethernet interface to transmit and
receive simultaneously.
3 Half Duplex This option sets the Ethernet interface to transmit or
receive at a given time, but not simultaneously.
