Replacing an Existing Phone

Occasionally a phone may fail and need to be replaced for an existing user in the NetVanta 7100 system.

Use the following steps to associate a new phone’s MAC address with an existing user:

1. Navigate to the

Voice > Stations > User Accounts menu.

2. Select the

Last Name of the user (phone) account you would like to edit (shown in Figure 8 on

page 22).

3. From the

Edit User menu, select Change beside the Phone MAC Address. This opens the

Change Phone MAC Address/Model dialog box.

4. In the Change Phone MAC Address/Model menu (see Figure 25), enter the New MAC Address

(or choose one from the Known Address drop-down list).
