The AVxx55 series network cameras are part of Arecont Vision's full line of
H.264 MegaDome IP megapixel cameras, integrating the camera, lens and housing
into an all-in-one solution. Available in color or day/night versions and with 1.3 to
5 megapixel sensors, the dome cameras incorporate Arecont Vision's fully compliant
implementation of H.264 (MPEG-4 Part 10) compression that uses up to 10 times on
average less bandwidth and storage compared to megapixel counterparts using
MJPEG compression.

The AVxx05 network cameras are Arecont Vision's full l
ine of H.264 megapixel
cameras. This fully compliant implementation of H.264 (MPEG-4 Part 10) is capable
of sustaining over 80 billion operations per second and maintaining full motion
progressive scan video up to 32 fps. Part of the MegaVideo line of cameras, it offers
bandwidth and storage efficiency of 10x greater on average over traditional
megapixel counterparts.
