The Digital Sentry Network Video Software is a scalabl
e and flexible digital video
management software solution that integrates IP cameras into an existing security
infrastructure. DS NVS, a software-only solution, allows Digital Sentry customers to
seamlessly expand their existing capability with four, 16 or 32 IP cameras per server.
As a standalone software solution, DS NVS provides customers the flexibility to select
or continue using the platform of their choice. From a central location, the same user
interface is used for viewing and managing both IP cameras and analog cameras
simultaneously. This is especially important for customers with existing analog
systems who are in the transition to purely digital systems. When new software
features and functionality are available from Pelco, the customer needs only upgrade
the software, which extends the product life cycle, saving time and money and
lowering the total cost of ownership.

The Digital Sentry Network Video Recorder (DS NVR) is
a turnkey software and
hardware solution that manages video from IP cameras and converters exclusively via
an Ethernet connection. DS NVR is offered in 4- and 16-channel configurations and
provides RAID and non-RAID internal and external storage options. As a fully scalable
solution, customers can install several IP cameras at a small, remote site without
incurring the cost of installing, managing and maintaining a DVR at each location or,
use multiple DS NVRs to support an unlimited number of IP camera
counts system-wide.
