XProtect Retail is Milestone's project-based software integration linking video with

point-of-sale (POS) data deriving directly from an enterprise resource planning

system (ERP). It provides you with full video documentation on selected transaction

IDs, item numbers, terminal numbers and employees in any combination. Whether

your specific challenge is shrinkage, fraud, clerical errors, shoplifting, or you simply

want to protect innocent employees and customers, a tailor-made XProtect Retail

solution will help you protect your business, your customers and your employees.

- Functionality - XProtect Retail is fully integrated with XProtect Enterprise and

XProtect Corporate software and can be installed locally or centrally.

- Local installation - The main dialogue requires the setup of transactions (transaction

types are optional), schedules for transactions and recorded image analysis, the

address to the Transaction Receiver and the POS terminal-to-camera assignment. All

parameters are fully customizable.

- Remote (Central Server) Installation - On remote sites there are two main dialogues:

the search dialogue and the view dialogue. The search dialogue allows you to search

between the recorded transactions, as well as making queries across the database,

for example, to cross-reference and establish patterns throughout the organization.

The view dialogue allows you to view transactions and video clips simultaneously.
