SFP Module Slots
The NetVanta 1224ST and 1224STR PWR support two SFP slots, the NetVanta 1224STR has one, and the
NetVanta 1524ST has four. All accept a number of industry-standard SFP modules. The SFP modules
provide Gigabit Ethernet connectivity over fiber for high-speed uplinks or switch stacking. The following
modules are available for purchase (both of these modules require fiber optic cable with LC connectors):
• 1200480L1 1000BaseSX Multi-Mode SFP Module
• 1200481L1 1000BaseLX Single-Mode SFP Module
