Line Parameters
All of the following Line Parameter settings shown in Table 13 below can be set either through the
administrator’s Web interface or in the MAC address-based configuration file for each phone. The value of
x is 0 through 5 on an IP 706 phone, or 0 through 11 on an IP 712 phone.

Reg.x.AuthPassword ASCII String Specifies the password used to register a phone line
with the registrar.
Reg.x.AuthUserId ASCII String Specifies the user name used to register a phone line
with the registrar.
Reg.x.CallerIdPopup True or False Enables (true) or disables (false) the incoming call
pop-up window.
Default: True
Reg.x.Did Up to 32 ASCII
Characters
Specifies the DID number. Certain proxies may require
a DID number that is different from the user name for
authentication. If DID is not set, the Reg.x.AuthUserId
is used both for authentication and as the DID number.
Reg.x.DisplayName UTF-8 String Specifies the display name for the SIP signaling.
Reg.x.Domain ASCII String Specifies the domain that is combined with the DID or
User ID to create an URI. Also, used during
registration.
Reg.x.Enable True or False Enables or disables registration for a phone line.
Default: False
Reg.x.Label UTF-8 Encoded String
of 15 Characters
or Less
Specifies the label that appears on the phone next to
the call appearance. If not specified,
Reg.x.AuthUserId is used.
Reg.x.LineSeize 10 to 65536 Indicates the number of seconds before a line seize
subscription expires. Only used for shared call
appearances.
Default: 30
Reg.x.Logging True or False Enables or disables call logging for a phone line.
Default: True
Reg.x.Multiple True or False Indicates if the line is an MCA line.
Default: False
Reg.x.Shared True or False Indicates if the line is an SCA line.
Default: False
