Instructions for Installing the NIMs/VIMs
Step Action
1 Remove power from the unit.
2 Remove the cover from the option slot by pulling the pins until they disengage from the chassis.
3 Slide the option module into the option slot until the module is firmly seated against the chassis.
4 Secure the pins at both edges of the module.
5 Connect the cables to the associated device(s).
6 Restore power to the unit.
