NetVanta 6355 PoE Hardware Installation Guide Option Modules

3. OPTION MODULES

The NetVanta 6355 PoE supports several option modules designed to meet a variety of networking

requirements. The option modules include plug-in NIMs and VIMs.

NIMs/VIMs are cards that plug directly into the option module slot located on the rear of the base unit. These

cards provide the following types of interfaces:
