Power Over Ethernet
The NetVanta 6355 PoE interfaces provide the ability to detect attached powered devices (PDs) and deliver
48 VDC to the PD via existing CAT 5 cabling. The PoE interfaces are fully compliant with the IEEE 802.3af
PoE standard. By default, the PoE ports automatically discover and provide power to IEEE-compliant PDs.
