TSU ACE Features
Easy configuration capabilities using simplistic menus displayed in a liquid crystal display (LCD)
window operated by a front panel keypad.
Timing is selectable from the network, the Nx56/64 DTE port, or internally.
Variety of test patterns: all ones, all zeros, 511, and 1:8
Extensive self-testing and monitoring ensures proper operation.
Flexible channel allocation (any starting channel and alternate or contiguous).
TSU ACE Interfaces
The TSU ACE is equipped with two interfaces:
Network DS1 interface per AT&T 62411
Nx56/64 serial V.35
TSU ACE BRIDGE/ROUTER APPLICATION
A bridge or router can be interfaced to the network by using the V.35 DTE interface. The bandwidth used is
programmable at Nx56 or Nx64 data rates for T1 or FT1 service. The bandwidth can be selected as
contiguous or alternate. Figure 1-3 shows a simple bridge application.
