Connection mode of pulse output signal
Differential mode:
For stepper motor driver with individual pulse and direction input, and most of servo motor driver, it is
recommended to use this mode to get the better anti-interference performance.
Single-end mode:
It is applicable to the earlier stepper motor driver whose pulse and direction anodes are connected
together.
Stepper motor driver
Note: It is not applicable to the some stepper motor drivers whose pulse and direction cathodes are
connected together.
PU_COM and 5V- are especially set for adapting the stepper or servo driver control signal, not the
differential signal, at this time the driver uses the common-anode or common-cathode connection. If the
control signal of driver is of differential connection, the PU_COM and 5V- are not required to be connected.
Especially note that PU_COM is exclusively used in non-differential connection of motor pulse. It
should not be used for other purposes, or it may damage the internal circuit of controller.
Note: Any two pins of PU+, PU-, DR+ and DR- cannot be connected together; otherwise, it may
damage the pulse interface.
