Disabling a value on the graph
Enable the alarms for this profile period again by deselecting the Disable
Selected Profile checkbox.
After entering the required profile, select the deadband and debounce delay
(when necessary). The deadband around the profile can represent either a
single value or a percentage. When it represents a percentage, the value
entered for the deadband corresponds to the percentage of the profile value.
The system will trigger a high alarm if the channel reading remains above the
profile value plus the deadband for the designated debounce delay period.
Selecting the deadband
For example, when applying a flow profile value of 0.114 mgd with a
deadband of 0.023 mgd, the logger will generate a high alarm during this
period for a reading above 0.137 mgd and a low alarm for a reading below
0.091 mgd. If the deadband were designated as 10% instead, the logger would
generate a high alarm above 0.126 mgd and a low alarm below 0.103 mgd.
 Envelope Alarms
In addition to the standard Profile alarms, XiLog+ can generate alarms based
on a more complex Envelope alarm. Envelope alarms allow importing of
profile data in the same way as standard profile alarms. However, clicking on
the AutoFit button displays two rows of markers for editing (as required) on
the graph instead of only a single row of markers.
