Transmitted alarm text messages have the following format:
Location: Text Message content (Send ‘RST Alx’ to reset)
Where,
“Location” is the programmed Spider location
“Text Message content” is the programmed text message content
for this particular alarm
“x” is the particular alarm number (1 – 8)
Therefore, using the examples programmed in Setting up a Spider for
the First Time on page 32, the first alarm text message will be sent to
2564303366 and will be:
ADS DEMO: Pump 1 has failed (Send ‘RST AL1’ to reset)
The alarm sequence may be reset simply by replying with the
received message (no text entry required!!), replying with RST AL1,
or by connecting to the Spider with a PC and resetting the alarm.
NOTE: Alarms will be registered while in the Remote Access mode,
but text messages will not be sent until Remote Access mode
terminates.
