Internal Power
One ADS 9-volt or 12-volt IS alkaline battery pack
powering the monit or and one ADS non-IS 12-volt
alkaline battery pack powering the External
Modem Unit.
Battery Life
Monitor (9-volt bat tery pack): 9-12 months at a
15-minut e sampl e rat e with weekly
communications.
Monitor (12-volt battery pac k): 11-15 months at a
15-minut e sampl e rat e with weekly
communications.
EMU: 2-3 mont hs at a 15-minute sampl e rat e
with weekly communi cations .
Note: A ctual bat t ery l i f e will vary depending on
operating temperature and frequency of
communications.
External Power
Option
Requires an external, low-noise DC power source
providing a m i ni mum of 12 volt s at 1 amp
Connectors
U.S. MIL-C-26482 series 1, for environmental
sealing, with gold-pl at ed contacts and interfacial
seals
