Problem

Monitor acti vat i on may have fail ed.
Monitor time m ay be incorrect.
Monitor’s firmware file may be corrupt.

Solutions
Verify whether the monitor has been acti vat ed, and
activate it if nec essary.
Check monit or t i me, and reset cl ock if nec essary.
Run diagnostics in Profile to verify whether a firmware
problem may exist.
Contact your regional ADS repres entative.
Problem
An I/O error message displays when comm uni cating
with the moni tor.

Processor or analog board may be fault y.

Re-attempt communicat i on with t he monit or.
Replace the monitor i f defective.
Contact your regional ADS repres entative.
External Power
The following table contains troubleshooting techniques for
problems with the ADS External Power Supply. If another power
supply is in use, similar troubleshooting techniques may apply.
However, consult the manufacturer’s product documentation prior
to beginning the troubleshooting process.
