Problem
Modem connec ts but monit or does not respond.
Possible
Causes
Reset board fai l ure may have occ urred.
Communication interface board fai l ure may have
occurred.
Communication cabl e i s cut or di s connected.
Possible
Solutions
Wait 4 hours for t he Res et board to reset automat i cally.
Inspec t the communi cation c abl e connecti on at the EMU
location and the monit or t o determi ne whether the cable
is disconnect ed or has been damaged.
Connect direc tly with the monitor us i ng t he direct
connect cable (ADS p/n 106228). If moni tor
com munic ates and is recording data, the problem
resides i n communic ation cable or E MU.
Contact your regional ADS repres entative.
Problem
Tim e stamp on the col l ected data is incorrec t.

Causes
PC cloc k may be s et to inc orrec t time.
Monitor clock may be fault y.
Possible
Solutions
Verify the tim e on the PC clock and correct if nec essary.
Reactivate the moni tor to enable t he clock.
Collect the data from the monit or and replace the
monitor if defective.
