Sliding the ring stabilizer onto the ring
3. Slide the ring stabilizer all the way around the ring until it is
about 4 inches (102 mm) from the welded metal band at the
other end of the ring.

4. Position the ring with the downstream edge (edge with the
holes) facing you.
