Problem
Monitor independently discontinues l oggi ng data.
Possible
Causes
Battery pac k may be dead or below mini mum voltage
requirement (7.5 volts - internal).
3.3-volt fuse on regulator may have blown.
Monitor memory may have been corrupt ed duri ng
firm ware upgrade, c ausing the moni tor to record data
only during m oni tor communicati ons.
Possible
Solutions
Replace batt ery pac k.
Replace the 3. 3-volt yel l ow fuse (when replaceable) on
the regulator.
If the monitor is logging data only during monitor
com municat i ons following a firm ware upgrade, contact
your ADS regional representat i ve to clear the monitor
memory and reactivate t he monitor.
Contact your regional ADS representati ve.
Problem
An I/O error message di splays when communicati ng
with the moni tor.
Possible
Causes
Communication qual i ty might be marginal.
Antenna may be defective.
Processor board may be faulty.
Possible
Solutions
Re-attempt communic at i on with the monitor.
Temporaril y at tach new antenna, and permanently
replace the exist i ng antenna if the error message no
longer occurs .
Replace the monitor if def ective.
Contact your regional ADS representative.
