Problem
Tim e on t he monitor c l ock is incorrect.
Possible
Causes
Monitor cloc k may be a faulty.
Monitor time zone differenc e f or the PC clock may not
have been set correc tly when the monitor was ac t i vat ed.

Solutions
Verify the time on t he P C clock and c orrec t if
necessary.
Reactivate the monit or to enable the cloc k.
Verify the time zone setti ng of the monit or. Correc t and
reactivat e i f necessary.
Collect the data from the monitor and replace m oni t or i f
defective.
Problem
You receive a Device Time Out message in Qstart.
Possible
Cause
Communications may be m argi nal .
Modem may be defective.
Possible
Solutions
Re-attempt communic at i on with monitor. Verify signal
strength. Check a Qstart dat a collect l og or check the
Status in Qstart. If the s i gnal strength indic ated is less
than -95 (for exam pl e: -99), consider re-orient i ng t he
antenna and/or ins talling the ant enna i n a pedes tal
above ground.
Contact your regional ADS representative.
Replace the monitor if def ective.
