21.1.4 Tightening the wheel nuts

 Tighten the wheel nuts or wheel bolts (Fig. 96/2) in the sequence 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5.

 Check the firm seating of all wheel nuts or wheel bolts again.

 Use a torque wrench for light-metal rims without steel bushings.

 See the separate operating instructions from the chassis manufacturer for tightening tor-

ques for rims.

 After driving approx. 50 km, check the seating of the wheel nuts or wheel bolts.
