13.3 Auxiliary heater (special equipment)

Some vehicles have an additional heater in the living area which is incorporated in the engine-

coolant circuit. The second row of seats can be heated with this heater during the journey.

Using the auxiliary heater:

 Set the switch (Fig. 76/1) to positions "I -III" to switch on the heater.

 Slide the temperature controller (Fig. 76/2) to set an agreeable temperature.

 To switch the heater off, set the switch (Fig. 76/1) to the "0 position" again.

13.4 Floor heating (special equipment)

Depending on the model and special equipment, your vehicle has been fitted with floor heating.

The floor heating serves to heat the floor surfaces in your vehicle slightly.

Electric heating foils are used in connection with a Truma warm air heater. Heating foils or

warm water channels can be installed in vehicles with an Alde warm water heater.

Caution!

Damage to heater

 Clogged or obstructed outlet openings (Fig. 76/3) can cause overheating of the heater.

 Keep the outlet openings of the heater free.
