About Live Text templates
Live text templates in Premiere Pro let you edit text layers in After Effects compositions directly in Premiere Pro.
If you use an After Effects template for animated lower-third graphics in your video, you can quickly customize the
editable text in Premiere Pro without returning to After Effects. Any changes that you make to the text layers in the
composition does not alter the imagery or graphics surrounding the text.
Using Live Text templates
Important: To use Live Text templates in Premiere Pro, you need to have the 2014 release of After Effects CC installed
on your computer.
You can use Live Text templates in any number of Premiere Pro projects and sequences. Any changes you make to the
template file are propagated to all the projects and sequences that use that template.
