Locking
• You can Lock objects into
place in order to prevent
them from being resized,
or moved.
• When an object is locked,
you will see a little lock
icon appear if you try to
move the object.

• You can Lock objects into place in order to prevent them from being
resized, or moved.
• When an object is locked, you will see a little lock icon appear if you
try to move the object:
To lock an object:
• Select the object you would like to lock.
• From the main menu, choose Element > Lock Position
OR
press the Ctrl + L key combination.
Unlocking
objects
• The Unlocking command undoes the Lock Position command,
allowing you to move the selected object.
To unlock an object:
• Select the locked object.
• From the main menu, choose Element > Unlock
OR
press the Ctrl + Alt + L key combination.
