Integration with other
Adobe products
Adobe Illustrator 6.0 is integrated with
the following products:
• Adobe Fetch
®
. Adobe Illustrator files
can save previews for use in Adobe
Fetch, a software utility used for
cataloging those images.
• Adobe Acrobat. Version 6.0 has the
ability to open, edit and save files in
version 1.1 of the Adobe Portable
Document Format (PDF).
• Adobe PageMaker
®
. Double-clicking
a placed Adobe Illustrator file within the
Adobe PageMaker 6.0 program launches
(or switches to) Adobe Illustrator, with
thatfile open and ready for editing.
Saving the file in Adobe Illustrator
automatically updates the file within
PageMaker.
• Adobe Photoshop. You can drag
and drop selected objects between the
Adobe Photoshop 3.0.4 (or later) and
Adobe Illustrator 6.0 programs, from a
document window in one program to a
document window in the other.
