Outline Stroke and Offset Path
commands leave overlaps and
extraneous points.
The Outline Stroke and Offset Path com-
mands may leave triangular overlaps or
extraneous points at corner points of
the original object.
To remove the triangular overlaps, use
the Pathfinder Unite filter. The Unite fil-
ter separates the triangular overlaps
into individual objects, which you can
then select and delete using the delete-
anchor-point tool.
