3 Locate and select the file that you
want to place. If you don’t see the name
of the file you want, the file has been
saved in a format that Illustrator cannot
read. See the Read Me file installed with
Adobe Illustrator for a complete list of
all the file formats you can import.
4 Click Place. The artwork is converted
to the Adobe Illustrator format, placed
in the center of the page boundary, and
is selected.
