Exporting text files
The Export command exports text to a
new text file in one of 14 file formats
(for example, WordPerfect®, Microsoft®
Word®, or Rich Text Format). You must
have the Claris XTND utility installed to
use the Export command. (This utility as
installed if you used the Easy Install
option when copying the Adobe Illustra-
tor program onto your hard disk drive.)

To export text:
1
Using a type tool, select the text to
export.
2 Choose File > Text > Export.
3 Select the desired file format in the
Export File pop-up menu.
4 Type the name of the new text file in
the name box.
5 Click Export.
