5 Specify a percentage of white or
black, a process color, or a custom color,
by clicking the appropriate color option
box and using the procedures in Setting
paint attributes.
Note: If you create a gradient between
custom colors, be sure to deselect the
Convert to Process option in the Separa-
tion Setup dialog box to print the
gradient as individual separations.

6 To define the gradient’s ending color,
select the right triangle below the gra-
dient bar by clicking it; choose a color.
