About custom colors, gradients,
and patterns
Any custom colors, gradients, and pat-
terns you create are saved with the doc-
ument. You can load them from one doc-
ument into another by using the Import
Styles command or by creating a custom
startup file that loads the custom colors,
gradients, and patterns you want when
you open the program.
The procedure for creating a custom
color, gradient fill, and pattern is similar.
First you create or select your color, gra-
dient, or pattern, and then you define it
as such by naming it using the corre-
sponding dialog box. For information
on filling objects with custom colors,
gradients, and patterns, see Setting
paint attributes.
