Selecting colors using other color
systems
Adobe Illustrator lets you select colors
using other color systems—including
the PANTONE® Process Color System,
Toyo Ink Electronic Color Finder 1050,
the FOCOLTONE® COLOUR System, and
the Trumatch™ color swatching system.
To load predefined custom colors into
your palette:
Choose File > Import Styles, and open
the file you want from the Color Sys-
tems folder.
The colors appear in the Paint Style pal-
ette and the Custom Color palette and
can be edited and deleted as any other
custom color. Custom colors are printed
on separate plates; see About separa-
tions for more information.
