Shearing
Shearing an object slants, or skews, the
object along the axis you specify. Copy-
ing while shearing is useful for creating
cast shadows.
To shear by dragging:
1
Select the object you want to shear.
2 Select the shear tool.
3 Choose one of two options:
• Drag the object to shear using the
object’s center point as the point of
origin.
