Cutting and pasting
Cutting and pasting lets you move or
copy objects in your artwork.
To move or copy an object by pasting:
1
Select the object you want to cut.
2 Choose Edit > Cut or Edit > Copy.
3 If you want to paste into another
document, open the document.
Note: To paste a bitmap PICT version of
the selected object onto the Clipboard
for pasting into other applications, hold
down the Option key while choosing the
Copy command.
4 Choose one of the following options:
• Choose Edit > Paste to paste the
objects into the center of the active
window.
• Choose Edit > Paste in Front to paste
the object directly in front of the
selected object.
