Moving and copying objects
You can move or copy objects in your
artwork by
• Cutting and pasting
• Dragging to move or copy
• Dragging between applications
including open Illustrator and Photo-
shop documents
• Using the arrow keys
• Using the Move command
• Using the Transform Each command
when Moving groups of objects
• Using the Control palette.
In addition, you can use guides to align
objects with precision.
You can also use the Option key or the
Move dialog box to move copies of
objects rather than the objects them-
selves. In this case, if the object you are
copying is part of a group, the copy
becomes part of the same group.
