2 Choose any of the following options:
• Choose File > Place to place the EPS
or TIFF image on the layer. See Placing
EPS files for more information.
• Copy the EPS image and paste it onto
the layer. (For information on placing
images, see Opening and placing
artwork.)
• Dim the layer by double-clicking
the layer’s name in the Layers palette,
selecting the Dim Placed Images option,
and clicking OK. This dims any EPS
image on the layer.
3 Trace over the image using the
pen tool or freehand tool.
