3 Choose any of the following options:
• Drag the pointer in an arc to rotate the
polygon.
• Hold down the Shift key to constrain
the tool to multiples of 45 degrees.
• Hold down the spacebar to move the
polygon as you drag.
• Press or hold down the Up arrow key
or the Down arrow key to add or delete
polygon sides.
To draw a polygon by specifying
dimensions:

Select the polygon tool from the
plug-ins toolbox.
2 Click to set the polygon’s center. The
Polygon dialog box displays the dimen-
sions of the last drawn polygon. The
units of measure are set by defining
ruler units in the Document Setup or
General Preferences dialog box.
3 In the Radius text box, enter the dis-
tance from the center point to each line’s
endpoint.
4 Click the arrows or enter the number
of sides in the Sides text box. Click OK.
