Adding and deleting anchor points
You can add and delete anchor points on
any path. Added anchor points can give
you more control over the path shape.
Similarly, you can delete anchor points
to change the shape of a path or to sim-
plify the path. If a path contains numer-
ous anchor points, it’s a good idea to
delete unnecessary points to reduce
the path’s complexity. (See Improving
printer performance for information on
path complexity when printing.)
