2 Drag the selected anchor points or
segments to a new position. Hold down
the Shift key to constrain the tool to
multiples of 45 degrees.

To adjust a straight segment:

Select the direct-selection tool, and
click anywhere along the segment you
want to move. To adjust the angle or
length of the segment, select an anchor
point.
