To annotate a movie
Click the Annotation tab in the Movie Inspector and fill in any or all of the text boxes.

About the Timeline Editor
You use the Timeline Editor to add tracks, effects, and interactivity to QuickTime movies.

Selection tool Use the Selection tool to select tracks, samples, and other items in the Timeline Editor. You can
also use this tool for dragging tracks in the track list to set the layering order, and to display the properties for a track
or sample in the Inspector. To select multiple items, Shift-click or drag a selection rectangle over the tracks. After
selecting multiple items, you can use the Multiple Inspector to align the timing of the items.
Sample editing tools Use the sample editing tools to create and manipulate keyframes and samples within tracks.
Playback controls Control the playback of a movie when the Preview tab in the movie window is active. Click the
Loop button to play the complete movie repeatedly. Click the Loop button and then the Palindrome button to play
the complete movie forward and then backward repeatedly. Click the Backward button to rewind the movie by a
single step,orholddownthisbuttontorewindthe moviecontinuously. Clickthe Stop button to stop movieplayback
at the current time, or double-click to rewind the movie to the beginning. Click the Play button to play the movie in
the Preview tab. Click the Forward button to advance the movie a single step, or hold down this button to advance
the movie continuously.
