Resizing and repositioning an image with the Destination Rectangle
A. Usethe Destination Rectangleinthe Destinationviewtoresizeand reposition an image B. You can display two images together by resizing
and repositioning them in the Destination view.
To resize and reposition an image using precise coordinates
1 In thePreview,Destination,orSourceview, position thetimecursoronthe rightedgeofthe imagethatyou want
to resize or reposition.
2 In the X and Y boxes for the Destination Rectangle in the Transition Inspector, enter the coordinates for the upper
left corner of the Destination Rectangle.
3 In the Width and Height boxes for the Destination Rectangle, enter the dimensions in pixels.
To preserve the aspect ratio of an effect’s image
1 In the Preview, Destination view, or Source view, position the time cursor on the right edge of the effect you want
to set.
2 Select Preserve Image Aspect in the Transition Inspector. (This option is on by default.)
