If your text contains characters that are used in HTML syntax, such as “<”, “>”, and “&”, you must use the proper
HTML notation for special characters, such as “&lt;”, “&gt;”, and “&amp;”; otherwise, GoLive interprets them as
HTML tags when it reads the text-only file.
6 Choose File > Save As to save the page with the .html extension after the file name.
The text will not display properly without the necessary operating system and fonts. To preview the page, you must
use a web browser with the correct encoding running on the necessary operating system.
