8 In the second Then By pop-up menu, do one of the following:
• If you don’t want to specify a tertiary column or row to be used in the sort criteria, choose None.
• If you chose Rows in step 3, choose the tertiary column in the table with contents that you want to appear in
numerical and alphabetical order.
• If you chose Columns in step 3, choose the tertiary row in the table with contents that you want to appear in
numerical and alphabetical order.
9 From the adjacent pop-up menu, choose Ascending or Descending to specify the sorting order.
10 From the pop-up menu at the bottom of the Sort Table dialog box, choose Sort Whole Table to sort the entire
table. Choose Sort Without Header to exclude the first row when the table is sorted. If only a portion of a table is
selected, you can choose Sort Selection Only to sort only the selection instead of the entire table.
